What Is StoryQuest?

StoryQuest is a free platform where kids write interactive choose-your-own-adventure stories and share them with friends, classmates, and the world.

Writers build branching stories using our visual editor — no coding needed. Readers get to make choices, roll dice, and discover different endings every time they play.

Why We Built This

We believe every kid has stories worth telling. StoryQuest was created to give young writers a fun, safe space to practice creative writing, logical thinking, and storytelling — skills that matter in every subject and every career.

Inspired by the creativity we've seen in platforms like Scratch, we wanted to bring that same energy to interactive storytelling.

How It Works

  2. Add Dice Rolls — Make outcomes unpredictable with D&D-style dice mechanics (d4 through d20).
  3. Publish — Share your finished adventure for others to play.
  4. Play — Read stories by other writers and discover new paths every time.
